An Aligoté dei is aged in amphora. The grapes are harvested by hand, then gently pressed and aged for a year in 750L amphora tanks.
Floral aromas, primarily white flowers. A harmonious mouthfeel with plenty of volume and a beautiful minerality. A beautifully full, round wine with good acidity. So, plenty of tension. This would be a great alternative to a full-bodied Burgundy Chardonnay.
Also try the Primavera from the same maker, which is an Aligoté without education. Amphoras. Fun to taste side by side!
