Torremilanos has been owned by the Peñalba-Lopez family since 1975. Under Pablo Peñalba's leadership, the company has grown to 200 hectares of its own vineyards, all of which are certified organic. Today, Torremilanos produces various wines under the DOs of Ribera del Duero, DO Castillia y Leon, and DO Cava. The latter is particularly special—Torremilanos is the only winery that produces Cava in the region. All wines are produced biodynamically and range from more traditional to entirely natural. But what all the wines share is a light, highly drinkable quality.
The Porrón and Peñalba lines are made according to biodynamic principles and through natural fermentation – without filtering and with hardly any added sulphites.
