Method - The grapes are hand-picked from old bush vines (low, unsupported vines). Fermentation takes place using natural yeasts. The wine is aged in 1500-2500-liter barrels and partially in 225-liter barriques.

Telmo Rodríguez is a versatile winemaker with vineyards throughout Spain that combine history, top terroir, and quality. Fruit, relatively little oak influence, and exceptional drinkability are the hallmarks of Telmo's wines.

Winemaker Telmo Rodríguez is a phenomenon in the Spanish wine world. He prefers to work with old vines, so the roots are deep enough to find moisture. This also benefits the quality of the grapes. Old vines produce lower yields, but they are of high quality and complexity. Although not formally certified, Telmo practices organic farming: he uses no artificial fertilizers or insecticides/pesticides.
