A fruity, minerally, and slightly sweet wine. The nose offers beautiful aromas of dried apricots, ripe apples, and exotic fruits such as pineapple, passion fruit, and ripe banana. It also has a stony minerality. The wine has lively acidity and a very long, refined finish.

The grapes are picked later in the harvest season, around mid- to late October, to ensure full ripeness. The wine is fermented and aged in classic 1000-liter wooden casks.

Winemaker

Regnery is a family business that has been making wine since the 18th century. His father, Franz-Josef, is now 80 years old but still active in the vineyard. In the 1970s, he sold off the less desirable vineyards on the flat terrain to buy back the best slate-covered vineyards on steep slopes (steep slopes). After studying in Geisenheim and completing internships in New Zealand and South America, his son, Peter, took over his father's business in 2000 and now owns 7.5 hectares. In 2003, they were added to the Bernkasteler Ring, a select group of top producers from the region.
