Regnery is a family business that has been making wine since the 18th century. His father, Franz-Josef, is now 80 years old but still active in the vineyard. In the 1970s, he sold off the less desirable vineyards on the flat terrain to buy back the best slate-covered vineyards on steep slopes (steep slopes). His son, Peter, took over his father's business in 2000 after studying in Geisenheim and completing internships in New Zealand and South America. He now owns 8 hectares. In 2003, they were added to the Bernkasteler Ring, a select group of top producers from the region.
