Amber-colored wine with an intense and complex aroma. Aromas of tangerine peel, sweet spices, butter, honey, and caramel. Dry with a super-soft, creamy mouthfeel, soft acidity, and light tannin from the brief maceration of the skins.

Winemaker

Movia has existed since 1700 and came into the hands of the Kristancic family in 1820. Ales Kristancic and his son Lan now make the wines. The estate covers 22 hectares of beautiful hilly vineyards. Half of the vineyards are located in the Italian Collio region, but are sold as Slovenian Brda wines. The biodynamically farmed vineyards are planted primarily with Rebula, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Movia produces pure, complex natural wines, often macerated on the skins and aged in oak.
