This wine is made from Xarel·lo with 10% Gewürztraminer skins, completely natural and without added sulphites. Vegan and only lightly filtered, with a light haze and possibly some sediment.

Amber-colored, slightly hazy. Intensely floral with white fruit, tension, and structure. The tannins from the skins are the main features. Delicious with grilled shellfish, grilled meat, or risotto with Parmesan.

Winemaker

These are new wines for us, but they're certainly familiar. Materia Prima wines come from the Cusiné family, who are responsible for the Parés Baltà and Dominio Romano wineries in Ribera del Duero, among others. We've been working with the latter for over six months now, and we're very pleased with them.

Their wines are 100% biodynamic and made entirely naturally. Materia Prima literally means "raw/original products" in Spanish, referring to the basic—yet excellent—ingredients that make a dish wow in the kitchen. This project is located in Penedes and is brand new. We are proud to represent it in the Netherlands. The wines are made in a fresh and playful way—not too complicated, but clean and pure.
