Grand Bourdieu, Prestige Blanc 2020
AOP Graves, Bordeaux
A classic Bordeaux blend with an intense nose thanks to the light use of oak. Aged in partially new oak barrels. Quite ripe in style (white and yellow fruit) with a touch of butter and a slightly smoky aroma. The palate opens roundly with ripe acidity that makes the wine pleasantly refreshing. The wine has a remarkably long finish.

Dominique Haverlan owns two châteaux in the Graves, of which Grand Bourdieu is one. He bought this château in 1988
Château Vieux Gaubert is one of two estates owned by Dominique Haverlan in the Graves region. This château is located a few dozen kilometers south of Bordeaux. He produces fine, clean wines here, clearly influenced by the terroir. The wines are modern in style: the grapes are picked at peak ripeness, so the wines are very drinkable even when relatively young.
