Sustainability is central to the more than 400-year-old cooperative Cantina Girlan, which believes it's the only way to guarantee the pure, authentic character of its wines. The vineyards and cellars are farmed as naturally as possible. In addition, significant attention is paid to training winegrowers in sustainability and quality. Cantina Girlan now has over 200 winegrowers affiliated with it. Together, they own over 220 hectares of vineyards.
