Drussé is run by Nathalie and David, who took over the estate from Nathalie's father in early 2000. They have a total of 22 hectares of vineyards, spread across the appellations of Bourgueil, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Loire (IGP), and Touraine. Their various cuvées showcase the diverse terroirs of these regions. For 15 years, they have been fully organic, committed to producing the healthiest grapes possible in their vineyards. The average age of the vines is 45 years. Their winemaking style is characterized by fruit-driven character, mild tannins, and abundant freshness. This requires, they say, a great deal of patience, using only stainless steel and cement—wooden barrels are a thing of the past at Drussé.
