Cigliuti, Barbera d'Alba Serraboella 2020
The wine is harmonious and inviting, with abundant fruit (cherry, blackcurrant), kirsch, and earthy notes and hints of undergrowth on the nose. It's velvety smooth on the palate with a high concentration of flavors, full of juicy fruit, soft, lively acidity, and ripe tannins. The finish is long with a lovely minerality.

Cigliuti is a small family-run winery, covering just 6 hectares with a modest annual production of 30,000 bottles. Despite its small size, the Azienda produces wines that rank among the very best in Barbaresco. It owns vineyards on the famous Serraboella hillside, where Nebbiolo and Barbera are grown. Due to the limited production, the wines lack international renown, but they consistently receive the highest ratings in Barbaresco from the international press.
