Winemaker

Founded in 1862 and always in the family, the estate was established in 1862. In the 1990s, Mr. Bonnet married Mrs. Ponson, thus merging two Champagne family businesses into one. Cyril Bonnet is now the sixth generation winemaker. Bonnet-Ponson is a "Récoltant Manipulant," meaning all its wine is made from its own vineyards. The winery is located in Chamery, in the western part of the Montagne de Reims. They have been organic since 2013. Cyril also experiments extensively and is busy with innovations, focusing on working as naturally as possible.
