The Arduini family business has been growing grapes in the heart of the Valpolicella region northwest of Verona in the Veneto district since 1940. Until 2002, the grapes were primarily sold to the major wineries in Valpolicella. However, in 2002, they opened a new facility where the wines can be produced according to state-of-the-art standards. Therefore, they are increasingly producing their own wine from their 7-hectare vineyard. Their father (Luciano) and son (Andrea) work in the vineyards and the cellar, their mother Silvana handles the administration, and their nephew Alex handles sales. The family's motto is: "Making wine isn't a business, it's a way of life!" The style of the wines is pure and clean, with relatively little oak used, making them drinkable and digestible even when young. On the other hand, the Ripasso and especially the Amarone naturally exhibit a wonderfully concentrated wine.
