Method - Each grape variety is vinified separately, then blended and then made using the traditional method, with a second fermentation in the bottle. The cava is aged on the lees for 24 months.

Winemaker

Agusti founded the company in the 1970s. He has since stepped down, and his son Alex and daughter Gemma have taken over the helm. A unique feature of the winery is that it produces cavas from a single vintage. Normally, when making cava, like Champagne, a blend of different vintages is created to create a distinct style. Agusti takes a different approach and allows each cava to develop its own distinct identity. The long bottle aging process is also a defining factor in the typical Agusti style.
