This northern Italian gem is a good example where the balance between tradition and new techniques has been excellently found. The aging process is done in a traditional way, where the wine is first aged in Slovenian oak, followed by shorter periods in small oak barrels. Through this way of working, Travaglini makes sure that the terroir characteristic of Northern Piemonte comes forward beautifully.
