Torremilanos has been owned by the Peñalba-Lopez family since 1975. Under the leadership of Pablo Peñalba, the company has grown to 200 hectares of its own vineyards, which are fully certified organic. In return, Torremilanos makes various wines within the D.O.'s Ribera del Duero, D.O. Castillia y Leon and D.O. Cava. And especially the latter is special - Torremilanos is the only winery making Cava in the region. All wines are made biodynamically and vary from more traditional to completely natural. But what all the wines have in common is that they are light-hearted, with a high drinkability content.
The Porron and Peñalba line are made according to biodynamic principles and through natural fermentation - with no filtering and hardly any sulfite added.
