Renzo Marinai is located in the heart of Chianti, and has been in Dutch hands for several years. Dutchman Tom Heidman worked for Ahold for a long time, until he decided to chase his dream and bought Renzo Marinai in Tuscany. He now has a whole team around him, with whom he manages a total of 30 hectares, including 6 hectares of vineyard. The vines are located in a kind of amphitheater through which a constant wind cools the vines. This allows the grapes to ripen for a long time, while still retaining a nice freshness.
