Movia, a producer with cult status has put top-quality Slovenian wines on the international map. Winemaker Ales makes wine in a variety of ways, experimenting plenty with peel soaking and amphorae. The vineyards are right on the border between Brda and Friuli, so about 50% are in Italy. His wines receive sky-high ratings from journalists and are widely loved by sommeliers.
