Born in Burgundy, and settled in Corbières. Maxime was not blessed with a family that owned vineyards. This gave him a reason to creatively search for a beautiful (and well affordable) place to start his own wine cellar. He stumbled upon old, abandoned parcels of very old vines (at least 50 to 100 years old) of carignan, among others, located on steep slopes and relatively high altitude. He is a naturalist pureblood, so he works organically (certified) with biodynamic applications, and in the wine cellar with as few modifications or additions as possible.
