In 2002 Pierrre Gaillard began his adventure outside the Rhone with Domaine Madeloc in Banyuls-sur-Mer, within the A.O.C. Collioure. Before that, he had already made a name for himself in the Northern Rhone, where he bought his first vineyard almost 40 years ago and is particularly famous for his Côte Rôtie and Condrieu. In addition to this, in the 1990s he also started together with Villard and Cuilleron 'Les Vins de Vienne,' which makes wines throughout the Northern Rhone. Meanwhile, daughter Élise is responsible for running Domaine Madeloc.
