Cave Drussé

Nathalie and David, a dynamic duo, passionately helm Drussé. The winery passed from father to daughter at the beginning of the new millennium. With a vast expanse of 22 hectares of vineyards spread across the appellations of Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Loire (IGP), and Touraine, they form a patchwork of terroirs. Their diverse cuvées serve as windows into the diverse characteristics of these regions. For fifteen years, they have embraced biodynamic viticulture, demonstrating their commitment to healthy grapes grown in wine country. With an average age of 45 years, the vines tell stories that stretch back in time.

Their winemaking style reflects a fruity vocation, carried by mild tannins and invigorating freshness. They attribute their mastery to patience, a quality essential for weaving their unique character. At the Drussé estate, they work with stainless steel and cement, while wooden barrels remain absent. With determination in their hearts and patience as their guide, Nathalie and David continue to cherish and enrich the Drussé heritage with wines that bring to life the stories of the land and their dedication.
