After the manual harvest, the grapes ferment on stainless steel, after which the wine matures partly in Slavonian oak barrels, partly in large old oak barrels. This makes the wine softer and rounder, without giving it too much influence from the flavor of the wood. The wine is harmonious and inviting, with lots of fruit in the nose (cherry, blackcurrant) kirsch and earthy notes and hints of brushwood. Velvety on the palate with a high flavor concentration full of juicy fruit, soft, lively acidity and ripe tannins. The finish is long with a nice minerality.

In the south-west of Savoie lies the village of Jongieux, where Antoine and his parents make congenial, unaffected wines from local grape varieties. For whites these are jacquère and roussette and for reds gamay and mondeuse. The vineyards are situated on poor limestone slopes at about 400 meters altitude. The area has even recently been classified as a national heritage site because of its beauty. And for 7th generation Antoine, preserving this landscape is one of the most important aspects and therefore the domaine is certified 'Haute Valeur Environnementale', which means they are super sustainable.
